The premise

Anna is living with "face-blindness" after surviving a serial killer's attack. As she lives with her condition, one in which facial features change each time she loses sight of them, the killer closes in.

Horror Vault's take

When Anna survives a brutal encounter with a serial killer, she's left with a rare neurological condition that makes every face around her a stranger — even those she loves. Unable to recognise anyone consistently, she struggles to navigate daily life while the killer, aware of her vulnerability, remains dangerously close. The film turns a medical condition into a sustained source of dread, trapping its heroine in a world where no one can truly be identified or trusted. Milla Jovovich anchors the slow-burn suspense as both a woman fighting to reclaim her life and a target who can't see the threat coming.
