The premise
After months of trying and failing to get pregnant, Lucy and Adrian finally find their dream fertility doctor in the illustrious Dr. Hindle. But after becoming pregnant with a healthy baby girl, Lucy begins to notice something sinister through Hindle's gleaming charm, and she sets out to uncover the unsettling truth about him.

Lucy and her husband have spent months struggling to conceive, and when a charismatic fertility specialist finally delivers results, it feels like a miracle. But as her pregnancy progresses, Lucy grows increasingly convinced that something is deeply wrong with the doctor overseeing her care — and possibly with the people closest to her. The film burrows into the paranoia of being dismissed and disbelieved, wrapping its psychological tension in visceral, dreamlike unease. It's a slow-burn portrait of a woman fighting to trust her own instincts in a world determined to doubt her.
