Six medical students head into the remote wilderness for a weekend escape, but a savage animal encounter sets off a horrifying chain of events. A mysterious disease begins spreading through the group, warping its victims into something barely recognizable as human. As paranoia and violence escalate, the line between friend and monster dissolves — and simply making it out alive becomes far from guaranteed.
