Deep in the Australian outback, a schoolteacher and her young students face a nightmare when a group of masked men abduct them and force them into an isolated underground space. Cut off from the outside world with little hope of rescue, the group must summon courage and cunning to fight back against their captors. This taut, based-on-true-events thriller trades jump scares for grinding psychological dread, putting children in genuine peril in ways that are deeply unsettling. Rachel Ward anchors the film with a steely, determined performance that keeps the tension coiled throughout.
