The premise
Haunted by memories of a patient's death, a nurse takes a job at an antiquated hospital for children. Soon she learns that the kids fear a ghost that prowls the floors and will not allow anyone to leave. Amy tries to protect them and convince the other staffers of the evil that lurks there.

When a nurse haunted by past tragedy accepts a position at a crumbling children's hospital on the Isle of Wight, she discovers the young patients are terrified of something that stalks the wards after dark. The staff dismiss the children's fears, but the evidence of a malevolent presence grows impossible to ignore. What follows is a slow-burn battle of belief and survival as she fights to protect her charges from a force that refuses to let anyone walk away.
