In a suffocating small town where legacy and masculinity are everything, a wrestling prodigy finds his carefully constructed world cracking when an attraction to a gay classmate awakens something he cannot name — or outrun. A grotesque entity begins haunting the edges of his reality, blurring the line between external threat and inner torment. Ganymede uses its creature as a dark mirror for shame, denial, and the violence of staying closeted. It is a horror film as much about what we do to ourselves as what stalks us in the dark.
