The premise
A cash-strapped young couple inherits a grand country house, only to find it is both falling apart and teeming with the ghosts of former inhabitants.

When a young couple inherits a crumbling country mansion, they quickly discover the property comes with far more than just dry rot and repair bills — the place is packed with the restless spirits of its former residents, spanning centuries of British history. The ghosts are opinionated, eccentric, and very much unwilling to be ignored. What follows is a warm, sharply written ensemble comedy that uses its supernatural premise to explore how the living and the dead might just learn to coexist. Equal parts haunted-house tale and workplace sitcom, it's a remarkably affectionate series with genuine heart beneath the laughs.
