The premise
A contemporary psychological thriller in which a young British couple travelling through the Australian outback become involved with a mysterious and charismatic American whose motive for imposing his friendship upon them becomes increasingly suspect and sinister.

Two British travellers exploring the vast, unforgiving Australian outback find their journey darkening when a magnetic American stranger latches onto them with unsettling persistence. What begins as an uneasy travel companionship gradually curdles into something far more threatening beneath the blazing sun. The remote landscape becomes as much a source of dread as the man sharing their path, stranding the couple far from help or safety.
