A couple's ailing marriage is put to the test when they are held hostage in an isolated vacation rental by an unseen Voice that commands their every move and threatens harm if they don’t obey.

A couple hoping a secluded getaway might salvage their troubled marriage instead finds themselves trapped in a nightmare — a disembodied Voice monitors their every move through the smart home's surveillance system and issues increasingly disturbing commands. Defiance carries a chilling price, forcing both partners to confront not only their unseen captor but the fractures already threatening to tear them apart. Equal parts domestic drama and nerve-shredding thriller, Held turns the modern smart home into something deeply sinister.
