The premise
Ruby wakes from a bad dream to find herself in a real life nightmare. She's trapped in a basement, her legs are broken and she can't remember who she is or how she got there. Her kidnapper, Tom, tells her she will remain captive until she falls in love with him. Ruby is focused on trying to escape until Tom starts helping her to remember her past and she begins to question everything.
Horror Vault's take
A woman regains consciousness in a locked basement, her body broken and her memory stripped away, with only her captor to fill in the blanks of who she is. He insists she'll be freed the moment she falls in love with him — a condition that blurs the line between survival instinct and genuine feeling. As fragments of her past slowly resurface, the psychological ground beneath her feet becomes dangerously unstable. What begins as a straightforward escape story darkens into something far more disorienting.
