The premise
When his mother commits suicide, Tom Redding discovers he has a long lost sister that cannot move or talk. Together they travel to their dead mother's isolated home, where Tom hopes to document her illness, only to be driven to the brink of madness by a supernatural evil.

After a family tragedy forces Tom Redding to confront a sister he never knew existed, the two find themselves cut off from the world in their late mother's remote home. Tom sets out to document his sister's mysterious condition, but the house harbors something far darker than unanswered questions. What begins as a search for truth steadily erodes the boundary between the rational and the terrifying, pushing Tom toward a breaking point he may not survive with his sanity intact.
