The premise
No one seemed to care about Jamie Marks until after his death. Hoping to find the love and friendship he never had in life, Jamie’s ghost visits former classmate Adam McCormick, drawing him into the bleak world between the living and the dead.
Horror Vault's take
In the grey quietude of upstate New York, a teenage boy begins to receive visits from the ghost of a classmate whose life went largely unnoticed — and unmourned. As the apparitions grow more insistent, the line separating the living from the dead starts to blur in deeply unsettling ways. Jamie Marks Is Dead is less concerned with scares than with the aching emotional weight of invisibility, grief, and desperate connection. It's a slow, elegiac portrait of what haunts us when we fail to truly see one another.
