The premise
A young man inherits a nearly bankrupt funeral home from his estranged father. He falls in love with the alluring young mortician, only to find out she's offing people to keep the place in business!

When a hapless young man unexpectedly inherits a struggling funeral home, he figures the hardest part will be learning the business — until his enchanting mortician colleague reveals some very unorthodox methods of keeping the body count up. What begins as an awkward small-town romance curdles into something far darker as our hero must decide how much he's willing to overlook for love and financial survival.
