The premise
A troubled and violent detective investigates a series of serial killer murders in Memphis, Tennessee.

A hard-edged Memphis detective haunted by his own inner demons throws himself into the hunt for a brutal serial killer terrorizing the city. The investigation pushes him to the edge of his sanity and morality as the body count climbs. Equal parts crime thriller and character study, the film leans heavily on its grim Southern atmosphere and relentless brutality.
