The premise
An eccentric sea captain assembles a motley ship crew in a revenge mission to slay the sea monster lurking in Lake Michigan that killed his father.
Horror Vault's take
A gloriously unhinged sea captain with a personal vendetta recruits an unlikely band of misfits to hunt down the creature lurking beneath Lake Michigan's depths. Shot in crisp black-and-white with a lo-fi aesthetic, this Wisconsin-made oddity wears its low-budget heart proudly on its sleeve. Equal parts creature feature homage and deadpan comedy, it delivers laughs and monster-hunting mayhem in equal measure.
