Marie, a competitive runner, relocates to her boyfriend's apartment on Antwerp's left bank — a place that carries an uneasy reputation she can't quite shake. When she begins piecing together the fate of the woman who lived there before her, the neighbourhood's dark folklore starts to feel dangerously close to home. Belgian director Pieter Van Hees crafts a slow-burn descent into dread, grounding supernatural menace in the mundane textures of illness, recovery, and domestic life. What begins as quiet unease deepens into something far older and more malevolent lurking beneath the surface.
