Set against the backdrop of a medieval Dutch village, Heresy traps its protagonist between the crushing weight of religious extremism and something far more primal lurking beyond the tree line. A young woman's belief system is pushed to its breaking point as her community turns inward with fearful zealotry while the surrounding woods whisper of darker truths. Drawing on local legend and a found footage aesthetic, the film layers historical paranoia with genuine supernatural dread. It's a slow-burn collision of faith, folklore, and forest horror.
