When two fugitive brothers stumble upon a remote farmhouse in the storm-lashed Scottish Highlands, they believe they're in control — but the family sheltering inside may be far more dangerous than anything pursuing them from outside. Little Bone Lodge wraps a home-invasion premise around something far more unsettling, using its isolated Highland setting to maximum suffocating effect. Director and cast lean into slow-burn dread, with Joely Richardson commanding the screen as a matriarch whose calm is more threatening than any raised weapon.
