When Gary finally marries the woman of his dreams, he gets more than he bargained for in the form of her eerily unsettling six-year-old son. Strange occurrences and ominous signs pile up as Gary begins to suspect his new stepson may be something far beyond a typical difficult child. Equal parts parenting comedy and end-of-days horror, the film leans hard into the absurdity of blended family life with a supernatural twist. It's a loving send-up of demonic-child classics that keeps its tongue firmly in cheek.
