The premise
Lennon, a new back-country ranger, travels alone through the dangerous wilderness, hoping to uncover the origins of a tragedy that has haunted her since she was a child.

A newly appointed backcountry ranger ventures deep into a vast, unforgiving wilderness on a mission that is as personal as it is professional — she carries a childhood wound she has never been able to explain. As the forest closes in around her, the line between the dangers of the natural world and something far less rational begins to dissolve. Lovely, Dark, and Deep is a deliberately paced, ambiguous descent into dread that leans on atmosphere and psychological unease over conventional scares.
