The premise

Welcome to a place where being normal is really quite strange. In a remote Texas town no one is who they seem. From vampires and witches to psychics and hit men, Midnight is a mysterious safe haven for those who are different. As the town members fight off outside pressures from rowdy biker gangs, ever-suspicious cops and their own dangerous pasts, they band together and form a strong and unlikely family.

Midnight, Texas is a small desert town with a very big secret — its residents are anything but ordinary, spanning vampires, witches, psychics, and things far stranger. Based on Charlaine Harris's novel series, the show follows this misfit community as they navigate threats from the outside world while wrestling with dangers that lurk much closer to home. Equal parts Southern Gothic soap opera and supernatural ensemble drama, it leans into the charm of its eccentric cast of characters rather than pure horror. The town of Midnight itself becomes as much a character as the people — and creatures — who call it home.
