The premise
It is the last day of school for Christian and his younger sister Sophie. They are heading to a party at his friend Trina. High school graduation is just around the corner and after the freedom and future. But behind the idyllic facade lurks tragedy and secrets. That evening Sophie commits suicide.

What begins as a carefree end-of-school celebration in the Scandinavian summer quickly curdles into something far darker when tragedy strikes a group of young friends. As the endless daylight of midsummer refuses to let the night hide their pain, guilt and unanswered questions begin to haunt those left behind. Strange, unsettling forces seem to stir beneath the surface of grief, blurring the line between nightmare and reality. This Danish-Swedish co-production harnesses the eerie paradox of the bright solstice night to craft a slow-burn horror steeped in atmosphere and dread.
