The premise
Simon Watterman, a space archaeologist, discovers the "Munchies" in a cave in Peru. Cecil Watterman, Simon's evil twin brother and snack food entrepreneur, kidnaps the creature. What Cecil does not know is that the creature, when chopped up, regenerates into many new creatures and are they mean!

When a space archaeologist unearths a bizarre creature in the caves of Peru, his scheming twin brother — a junk food mogul with dollar signs in his eyes — swoops in to exploit it for profit. What follows is a gleefully chaotic comedy-horror romp as the snatched creature proves far more trouble than anyone bargained for. Think small, hungry, and very, very multiplying. This late-80s creature feature leans hard into laughs over scares, serving up B-movie fun with a side of snacks.
