The premise
Denny has yet again been left by her thug boyfriend Chip. It seems as if she is doomed to be stuck with awful guys, this time she has to choose between nerdy Charles and the strange Kaz, who turns into a monster when sexually aroused.

Denny is a woman with spectacularly bad taste in men — and her luck doesn't exactly improve when she falls for Kaz, a charming drifter hiding a very unusual affliction. Caught between a hopelessly square suitor and a man whose romantic feelings trigger a monstrous change, she finds herself navigating romance in the most chaotic way imaginable. This late-80s horror-comedy leans hard into camp and creature-feature absurdity, wrapping its supernatural premise in a bubbly, lighthearted package. Think date-night horror for people who'd rather laugh than scream.
