Inspired by the infamous Phoenix Lights incident of March 1997 — one of the most widely witnessed UFO events in American history — Night Skies plunges a group of stranded travelers into a nightmare when something in the desert darkness takes a terrifying interest in them. What begins as an unexplained spectacle in the sky quickly becomes a desperate fight for survival as the line between awe and terror dissolves. The film leans into the real-world mystery of the event to ground its extraterrestrial dread in unsettling plausibility.
