The premise

A professor leads a small group of graduate students to a decrepit mansion with a dark history, hoping to document genuine paranormal phenomena. What begins as a field investigation quickly unravels into something far stranger and more dangerous than any of them bargained for. The film gleefully blurs the line between supernatural terror and science-fiction nightmare, piling on ghosts, unearthly forces, and psychological disorientation in equal measure. It's a late-80s genre mashup that swings for the fences with its anything-goes approach to horror.
