Horror Vault's take

When Marie receives word that her late mother's grave has been desecrated, she travels to a remote Florida island town to set things right — only to find herself stranded as the bridge closes and the off-season descends. The town and its peculiar residents seem to operate by rules that defy ordinary logic, and Marie's desperate search for answers grows increasingly nightmarish. Director Mickey Keating crafts a slow-burn atmosphere of dread where the line between the waking world and something far older and darker begins to dissolve.
