The premise
Deep in the woods, a lost hiker stumbles upon the cabin of an erratic and reclusive old man. What starts off as cordial conversation soon turns dangerous as it becomes clear that one or both of them might be hiding a terrifying secret.

When a lone hiker gets lost in a remote forest and takes shelter in a stranger's cabin, what begins as an uneasy but seemingly harmless encounter quickly curdles into something far more sinister. The two men circle each other in conversation, each revelation peeling back another layer of unease. Confined almost entirely to a single location, the film is a masterclass in mounting dread powered by two magnetic performances. Trust is a fragile currency here, and the audience is kept perpetually off-balance about who — or what — to fear.
