Set against the desolate Australian outback, Plague follows a fractured group of survivors trying to outlast a world overrun by the infected. While the zombie threat looms large beyond their walls, the true danger festers from within — in the form of power, control, and the ugly side of human nature. This low-budget indie strips away genre spectacle to focus on the psychological and social tensions that emerge when civilized norms dissolve. It's a grim character study dressed in horror clothing.
