The premise
A priest has been tasked with deciding the location of a new church for the local mining company, which reveals itself to be on top of an old Sami burial ground. After removing the remains, the dead come alive and haunt the settlers.

Set in a remote Norwegian mining community, this slow-burning folk horror follows a missionary priest caught between corporate ambition and something far older lurking beneath the earth. When construction disturbs a sacred Sami burial ground, the dead refuse to stay silent — and the living must face the price of their arrogance. Rooted in Scandinavian history and indigenous lore, the film builds a suffocating atmosphere of dread long before the violence arrives.
