The premise
A recently divorced young man discovers a mint condition Blade doll in his deceased brother's closet and plans to sell the toy at a convention in Oregon celebrating the 30th anniversary of the infamous Toulon Murders. All hell breaks loose during the auction when a strange force animates all of the puppets throughout the convention, setting them on a bloody killing spree.

A down-on-his-luck divorcé stumbles upon a vintage Blade puppet and heads to a convention marking the grim anniversary of the notorious Toulon Murders — hoping to cash in at auction. What begins as a quirky weekend among fellow collectors and memorabilia hunters rapidly descends into a bloodbath when an unseen force brings the tiny killers to life. The Puppet Master franchise gets a savage, no-holds-barred reboot that leans hard into extreme gore and pitch-black humor. Fans of outrageously violent practical-effects carnage will find plenty to love here.
