The premise

A story of a group of humanoid rabbits and their depressive, daily life. The plot includes Suzie ironing, Jane sitting on a couch, Jack walking in and out of the apartment, and the occasional solo singing number by Suzie or Jane. At one point the rabbits also make contact with their “leader”.

Horror Vault's take

David Lynch's experimental short unfolds in a dingy apartment where three humanoid rabbits enact a broken, looping parody of domestic sitcom life — complete with canned laughter that feels profoundly wrong. Dialogue arrives in disconnected fragments, rituals repeat without resolution, and an oppressive sense of surveillance and submission hangs over every banal moment. It is less a conventional narrative than a sustained mood — a waking nightmare dressed in the most ordinary clothes. Fans of Lynch's broader universe will recognize faces and textures that bleed into his larger work.
