The premise
The quiet Rose works in women's fashion clothing, hoping to be a designer. A traffic accident damages her face. She gets experimental stem cell treatment, leaving her stronger and prettier than ever - but there's a side effect.

Rose is a soft-spoken fashion industry hopeful whose life is derailed by a devastating accident — and then seemingly saved by a cutting-edge experimental procedure. What emerges on the other side is more confident, more beautiful, and dangerously changed in ways Rose herself may not fully understand. This remake of David Cronenberg's 1977 cult classic updates the body-horror premise for a modern setting, keeping the visceral dread and outbreak anxiety firmly intact. Expect escalating carnage as the consequences of unchecked science spiral far beyond one woman's reinvention.
