Decades after barely escaping a nightmare on a remote island, a weathered boat captain finds himself ferrying an unsuspecting reality TV crew back to the very place that almost killed him. The island hasn't changed — the oversized, ravenous shrews are still very much at home there. What was meant to be a splashy filming location quickly becomes a desperate fight for survival as the mutant creatures close in. This self-aware sequel leans hard into its campy roots while delivering old-school creature-feature thrills.
