The premise

A truck driver plays a cat-and-mouse game with a mysterious serial killer in a van who lures young female hitchhiker victims on a desolate Australian highway.

Horror Vault's take

Somewhere on the vast, empty stretches of the Australian Outback highway, a sharp-eyed truck driver begins to suspect that the driver of a nearby van is leaving a trail of missing women behind him. What starts as a nagging hunch escalates into a dangerous obsession as the trucker — accompanied by a spirited hitchhiker — finds himself tangled in a deadly game of pursuit and evasion. With no authorities willing to listen and nowhere to hide on the open road, the line between hunter and hunted grows razor-thin. This sun-baked road thriller trades haunted houses for endless asphalt, delivering Hitchcockian dread at highway speed.
