The premise
A silly group of college science students go an dig around in an indian burial ground for artifacts. Unfortunately, one of them becomes possessed by the evil spirit of Black Claw so he must therefore slaughter all of his friends.

When a group of college students ignore warnings and begin excavating a forbidden Native American burial ground, they awaken something ancient and wrathful. What starts as a field trip for artifacts quickly spirals into a waking nightmare as an evil force makes its presence known among the group. Low-budget and unrelenting, Scalps delivers raw, mean-spirited horror rooted in the consequences of cultural desecration.
