The premise
SCARCE depicts the gruesome fate of three lost snowboarders trapped at an isolated forest cabin owned by two menacing locals who harvest human flesh. As the day of the slaughter nears, they attempt to escape barefoot through the frozen wilderness.

Deep in a snow-blanketed wilderness, three snowboarders make the mistake of seeking shelter with the wrong strangers. What begins as a desperate bid for warmth quickly descends into a fight for their lives against hosts with deeply sinister appetites. The frozen landscape becomes as much an enemy as the men inside the cabin, offering no easy path to safety. This Canadian backwoods shocker pulls no punches in its portrayal of isolated, rural evil.
