The premise
Lucas returns to his native village lost in the mountains to bury his parents. Traumatised as a kid by the death of his best friend when he was eight, he wants to put the past behind him. However, the father of the deceased friend discovers Marc might be responsible for his son’s death and relentlessly goes after him for revenge.

When Lucas returns to his remote mountain village to lay his parents to rest, he hopes to finally close the door on a tragedy that haunted him since childhood. But the grief-hardened father of a boyhood friend who died years ago has never stopped asking questions — and now he wants answers. What begins as a somber homecoming descends into a desperate, claustrophobic fight for survival in the unforgiving wilderness. The mountains offer no easy escape, and the past refuses to stay buried.
