Something ancient and ravenous has been locked away beneath a small-town church for a very long time — and now it's free. As a mysterious threat begins jumping from host to host, the body count climbs and panic spreads through the community. Two estranged former lovers find themselves at the center of the crisis, forced to confront both the creature and each other. With few allies and fewer options, they may be all that stands between their town and total annihilation.
