The premise
The citizens of Comet Valley are being taken over by seeds from an alien plant that has taken root there. A sheriff investigates the strange goings-on.

Something has taken root in the quiet town of Comet Valley — literally. An otherworldly plant has begun spreading its seeds among the locals, and the results are deeply unsettling. A sheriff starts piecing together why his neighbors are acting increasingly strange, but in a town where anyone could already be compromised, trust is a luxury he can't afford. This low-budget early-90s creature feature leans into its pulpy premise with scrappy charm.
