The mad-scientist playbook gets a gloriously ridiculous sequel-sized upgrade when a rogue American researcher splices pterodactyl and barracuda DNA into one winged aquatic nightmare called Pteracuda. When the hybrid beast breaks loose and starts terrorizing anything in its path, only another genetically engineered abomination — the fan-favourite Sharktopus — stands a chance of bringing it down. Expect bucket-loads of B-movie bravado, outrageous creature carnage, and tongue planted firmly in cheek throughout. It's the kind of film that knows exactly what it is and leans into every ridiculous frame.
