The premise
A group of American teens comes to Ireland to visit a friend who takes them on a camping trip in search of the local, fabled magic mushrooms. When the psychedelics start taking hold, the panicked friends are attacked by ghostly creatures; but how can they determine whether what they are experiencing is reality or hallucination?

A group of American friends ventures deep into the Irish wilderness for a psychedelic mushroom trip, only for the night to spiral into something far more terrifying than a bad high. As the forest closes in and shadowy figures emerge, the line between chemically-induced nightmare and genuine mortal danger dissolves entirely. Shrooms weaponizes its remote, fog-drenched setting to keep both its characters and its audience perpetually off-balance, never quite sure what — or who — to trust.
