“The most terrifying images are the ones that are real.”
Directed by Masayuki Ochiai
The premise
A newly married couple discovers disturbing, ghostly images in photographs they develop after a tragic accident. Fearing the manifestations may be connected, they investigate and learn that some mysteries are better left unsolved.
Horror Vault's take
When a newlywed couple relocates to Japan for a photography assignment, a devastating roadside accident sets off a chain of disturbing events they can't easily explain. Ghostly figures begin appearing in developed photographs, blurring the line between coincidence and something far more sinister. As they dig deeper into the source of these spectral images, the investigation forces them to confront uncomfortable truths about their own lives. Not every mystery, it turns out, is meant to be uncovered.
