The premise
A student moves into a run-down building in New York City. His bizarre neighbors make a concoction in their apartment they call wine, but when he takes some of it, he turns into a deformed, murderous monster.

A cash-strapped student moves into a seedy New York City apartment building and quickly falls under the influence of his strange, insistent neighbors. A mysterious liquid they offer him sets off a horrifying physical and psychological unraveling that proves nearly impossible to stop. Low-budget and unabashedly grimy, Slime City leans hard into practical effects and 80s NYC atmosphere to deliver its gruesome thrills.
