The premise
Gemma moves to LA, hoping to become an actress. She takes an overnight gig at a sleep clinic that promises to make their clients’ dreams come true. But the longer she spends there, the more it becomes clear that something sinister is going on.

Chasing stardom in Los Angeles, Gemma lands what seems like easy money — an overnight shift at a high-end sleep clinic where clients pay handsomely to have their dreams shaped and perfected. As the night hours stretch on, small wrongnesses begin to accumulate into something she can't explain or ignore. Somnium uses the liminal unease of the graveyard shift to blur the line between what is experienced and what is real, trapping its protagonist — and the audience — in a waking nightmare she never signed up for.
