Horror Vault's take
A gleefully low-budget spoof of extraterrestrial horror, Spaceship takes aim at films like Alien with a wink and a pratfall. A crew of misfit astronauts encounters a very unwelcome alien presence, but laughs are just as likely as screams. Featuring Leslie Nielsen in full comedic form, the film leans hard into absurdist farce and musical oddities. It's cult-ready cheese for fans who like their monsters served with a side of slapstick.
