The premise
When their plans for a nature trip go awry, Polly and boyfriend Seth decide to check into a motel. On their way, they're carjacked and kidnapped by low-rent crooks Dennis and Lacey, who take the victims and their SUV to a nearby gas station. Along the way, they encounter an increasingly terrifying horde of parasites, and if any of them intend to survive, they'll have to outsmart the deadly organisms.

A romantic camping trip turns into a nightmare when two couples — one unwilling — find themselves trapped inside a remote gas station besieged by a horrifying parasitic organism. The creature defies easy understanding, and the small, desperate group must pool their wits to stand any chance of making it through the night. Director Toby Wilkins wrings maximum tension from a stripped-down premise, keeping the threat viscerally unpredictable throughout. It's lean, mean survival horror that punches well above its budget.
