The premise
The clumsy and unfunny clown Richard "Stitches" Grindle entertains at the 10th birthday party of little Tom, but the boy and his friends play a prank with Stitches, tying his shoelaces. Stitches slips, falls and dies. Six years later, Tom gives a birthday party for his friends at home, but Stitches revives to haunt the teenagers and revenge his death.

A talentless birthday clown meets an untimely end at a child's party, and years later that same child's teenage gathering becomes the stage for a very messy reckoning. Irish horror-comedy Stitches leans hard into gleefully over-the-top kills and a razor-sharp mean streak, balancing laughs with genuine splatter. Ross Noble's lumbering, wisecracking revenant is equal parts ridiculous and menacing — a killer clown for fans who want their scares served with a punchline.
