In a sleepy Romanian village, a young man returns home to find that a recent killing — dressed up as community justice — doesn't sit right with him. His investigation pulls back the curtain on small-town secrets, petty grudges, and a very inconvenient undead problem. Drawing on Eastern European strigoi folklore, the film blends dry, black comedy with genuine creepiness in ways that defy easy categorisation. It's a wryly observed horror fable about what happens when the dead refuse to stay conveniently buried.
