The premise
At the edge of postpartum psychosis, new mother Harper moves in with her own mother at their family's rural farmhouse. Soon she finds herself hunted by a threatening monster who has designs on her child.

Struggling with the psychological fog of postpartum psychosis, new mother Harper retreats to her family's rural farmhouse seeking refuge — only to find the countryside harbours something far more dangerous than her own fractured mind. A predatory creature has set its sights on her newborn, forcing Harper into a desperate fight on two fronts: the darkness closing in from outside, and the one threatening from within. The film mines the raw vulnerability of early motherhood for genuine horror, grounding its folk-inflected creature threat in deeply personal emotional stakes. Whether the terror is real or a symptom of Harper's unravelling becomes a question that drives the dread forward.
